Ilaria is corporate lawyer by background  with 20+ years experience in international transaction and investor by election with 7+ years experience as angel investor. As lawyer she gained with dual qualification (US and Italian) and worked for top financial institutions and national and international law firms in Italy and the US, advising multinational companies and funds in multi-jurisdictional transactions on corporate and financial issues, as well as startups in all their growth stages.

In the last 10 years she focused her activity on tech companies, becoming angel investor, member of Italian Angels for Growth Association (IAG), being listed on Sifted as one of the top European women angel investors, as well as becoming board member of Gammadonna (the leading Italian association supporting innovation and women entrepreneurship), of Roma Startup Association (in which role she is currently launching the Investor Chapter), and of Pathfinder Investor, an independent seed stage club deal vehicle.

In 2019 she co-founded B-yond venture, and as Managing Partner she carried out 16 investments, primarily at seed and early stage,  3 follow-on, and more in the pipeline. She is a passionate traveller, an art and nature lover, and a proud Roman.
